Obama bring his teleprompters everywhere he goes. He took them with him to California for his townhall meetings with his campaign workers.

Thats why you always see his head turn right and left, he never looks straight forward. Its the teleprompters that is placed on the left and right side of him. Without them he don't make much sense resulting in media comments.
